Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following vacancies in its Gaza Office:
    

2 Social Workers- Position#: (CA.HR.G.15.005)

Contract Duration: 2 months

Main Responsibilities:
-Assist potential beneficiaries to complete their applications to benefit from the project.
-Assist in reviewing the potential beneficiary’s applications
-Conduct home visits to verify application of potential beneficiaries and put comments on each application
-Communicates effectively with the Save the Children project team members, other staff of Save the Children, project partners and communities
-Actively participates in the regular meetings with supervisors, partners, contractors
-Assists the SC team in any other tasks and duties required, requested, and approved by Gaza Program Senior Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
-University degree Social science or equivalent
-At least 2 years of experience in social assessment.
-Effective communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure
-Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people.
-Ability to operate standard computer; Ms-office
-Understanding of Health & Safety issues at work and on site.
