FikrTech Academy is an innovative educational initiative dedicated to shaping the innovators of tomorrow under the motto "Learning for a better future." We combine cutting-edge technology with innovative education to inspire and prepare the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders. Our program is specially designed for students from 5th to 10th grade, offering a unique opportunity to explore technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
We are seeking passionate and skilled part-time instructors to deliver the FikrTech program in East Jerusalem schools. As a FikrTech instructor, you will guide students through an exciting journey of ideation, coding, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence, helping them develop critical 21st-century skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the FikrTech curriculum to students in East Jerusalem schools.
- Facilitate hands-on, project-based learning experiences.
- Guide students through the program's key pillars: ideation, coding, entrepreneurship, pitching, and artificial intelligence.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
- Mentor student teams as they develop their projects.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth program implementation.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience in teaching or mentoring youth, preferably in STEM fields
- Strong knowledge of coding and technology (experience with mobile app development or AI is a plus)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Familiarity with project-based learning methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and student needs
- Applicants must be residents of East Jerusalem (holding a blue ID)
- Valid driving license is required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with entrepreneurship or startup ecosystems
- Knowledge of design thinking and innovation processes
- Familiarity with the East Jerusalem education landscape
Time Commitment: This is a part-time position with flexible hours, typically requiring 10-20 hours per week during the school year. Instructors may be assigned to multiple schools based on program needs and availability.
