The ICRC Mission in Jerusalem, is seeking qualified candidate to fill in the following position: 

Accountant 1

Place of Employment      :  Jerusalem

Contract duration           :  8 months (including probationary period)

Occupation rate                :  100%

Starting Date                    :  May 2024

Grade level                    :  B1

Functional Responsibilities: 

• Creates entries in ERP system.
• Prepares Cash & Bank payments and communicates them to the clients.
• Reconciles Cash & Bank accounts on the system accordingly.
• Verifies the different private charges and reimbursements for the staff & impute them on the accounting application.
• Prepares the scanning/packing of the monthly accounting documents.
• Manages new Suppliers.
• Manages Goods Distribution Tracking project and ensures all requested documents are uploaded on the Tableau.
• Responsible for answering all types of Accounting Comments.

Education & professional experience:

• University degree in Accounting
• Fluent Arabic and Good command of English, Hebrew is an asset.
• 3 years' experience in a similar field
• Computer proficiency and good command in Word, Excel and PowerPoint software

Other requirements:

• Good Communication & Analytical skills
• Valid and clean driving license
• Familiar with ERP applications i.e (JDE & IRIS)
• Rigorous and trustful person
