Assistant Accountant Vacancy
(Maternity Leave Cover)

St John Eye Hospital Group is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip.  The main Hospital is located in Jerusalem and has centers in Hebron, Anabta and in Gaza.  In addition to our extensive range of specialist services we also provide support within the community through our Outreach Teams which travel throughout the West Bank.

We seek to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant on full-time basis 40 hours per week (5days/week) to be located in our hospital in Jerusalem.

To apply you should have the following:

-Bachelor Degree in Accounting.  
-1-2 years experience in the accounting field.
-Experience in projects is a plus.
-Computer literate especially excel spread sheets.
-Ability to read and write in English. Hebrew is preferred.
-Good eye for details.
-Methodical and organised with good office skills.
-Ability to work under pressure
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Ability to contribute to team work as necessary
