Dunya Women’s Cancer Center was established in Ramallah in 2011 as a non-profit center and since 2022 dunya is under the umbrella of Dunya Women's Cancer Association. It is the first and only center in Palestine specialized in diagnosing breast and gynecological tumors.
The center has a multidisciplinary team including but not limited to: radiologists, radiology technicians, oncologist, Oncological surgery doctor, women’s doctor, nurses, lab technician and administrative staff.
Job Summary: The Part-Time Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves handling various accounting tasks on a part-time basis, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Tax and Audit Preparation:
- Prepare necessary documentation for tax filings and audits.
- Assist in the coordination of external audits and respond to audit inquiries.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide support for financial audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Experience with [specific accounting software, if applicable] is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Work Schedule:
