Job Description
The Institute for Community Partnership is seeking a candidate for the position of an Accountant. The Accountant will be based in the Institute for Community Partnership.

Duration: One Year.

Tasks:
-Perform bookkeeping on ICP financial system and prepare payment requests for BU finance office of all payments requested by ICP staff.
-Preparing and following up purchase orders for ICP and its various projects.
-Monitor Status of accounts for students taking courses at ICP and coordinate with project managers.
-Assist with preparation of budgets.
-Analyze and reconciles expenditures accounts to budgeted accounts and prepare monthly reports to project managers with recommendations.
-Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
-Resolve accounting discrepancies.
-Recommend, develop, and maintain financial data bases, computer systems and manual filing systems.
-Supervise with ICP director the input and handling data and reports for BU university systems.
-Communicate with ICP consultants & trainers for all financial.
-Processing & coordinating all procurement at ICP through University Purchasing & Auxiliary Enterprise Unit.

Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Accounting.
-2 Years of equivalent proven working experience in Accounting.
-Working experience with BISAN accounting software is preferable
-Ability to work under pressure and flexibility in working extended hours when required.
