ACF (Action Against Hunger - Spain) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political, nondenominational and non-profit making organisation working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002.In line with ACF’s strategy in the Palestinian Territory to support the vulnerable population by enabling them to cover their basic water and sanitation needs, food security and nutritional needs. ACF is recruiting for its Hebron office a: for an initial 9 months period
The Candidate will:
1- Participate in the design and implementation of shelter rapid assessments and project
identification studies
2-Participate in the design of shelter concept papers and project proposals
3- Follow up and monitor the Implementation of shelters activities with the partner (beneficiaries
selection, field works, trainings, tenders, community organization, etc)
4- Follow up implementation of subcontracted shelters activities
5- Provide technical assistance to beneficiaries and counterparts
6- Participate in data collection for monitoring of results and objectives indicators
7- Participate in the forecast and follow up of the project expenses and budget
8- Participate in writing of project extension or amendments
9- Identify the needs of the most vulnerable populations and propose responses to these needs
10- Participate in meetings with the community and project personnel to define roles and
responsibilities
Profile of the Candidate:
1- University degree in civil engineering or related field
2- Good knowledge of shelters and water and sanitation Programmes
3- Excellent computer skills (AUTO Cad , MS project ,Microsoft Office application, Internet )
4- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
5- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
6- Good project field management skills
7- Very good command in English both written and spoken
8- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and team worker
9- Valid driving licence.
