ACF (Action Against Hunger - Spain) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political,
non-denominational and non-profit making organisation working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002. In line with our project entitled “Emergency Response to alleviate the lack of access to basic water needs of families affected by the current crisis in the Gaza Strip” funded by the Department for International Development (DFID). ACF is recruiting for its Gaza office a for an initial 3 months period
The candidate will:
1- Implement the activities of the hygiene promotion project activities
2- Assess and update project needs
3-Supervise the distribution of hygiene kits
4- Participate in the implication of beneficiary communities in the project
5- Identify the community’s technical training needs
6-Participate in permanent information gathering from other NGO’s, institutions, local
authorities and other key actors about local water and sanitation situation
7- Participate in the design and implementation of water and sanitation assessments,
surveys or any other project identification study in collaboration and coordination
with technical coordinator.
Profile of the Candidate:
1- University degree in public health or any related field
2- 3 years of relevant professional experience preferable within INGO
3- Fluent in English and Arabic
4- Excellent computer skills
5- Good interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
6- Well organized and rigorous
7- Valid Driving License
