Admin / HR Officer
Position: Admin / HR Officer for ActionAid Palestine
Location: Hebron and Bethlehem, Palestine

Terms: 1 year full- time contract. Starting date: 1st September 2014.
The Position:
The objective of this position is to support ActionAid Palestine administrative work and Human Recourses along with main focus on a new establishing Global Platform - a training centre for Palestinian and international youth. The Platform will build the capacity of youth, supporting them and giving them skills and tools to participate in political processes and decision-making and to address social inequality and injustice in their communities, through innovative and creative trainings in governance, gender, facilitation, advocacy skills and much more. Admin/HR person will be responsible for HR and administration of Global Platform and supporting HR for ActionAid Palestine office. The officer will be also a part of Global Platform team (GP manager and GP trainers in Bethlehem).
Qualification & Experience
-Experience in works in all fields of HR cycle containing - personnel planning, recruitment, orientation, integration, training, development, compensation and benefits and performance management.
-Demonstrated experience in developing HR policies, procedures, tools, HR legal set-up analysis,
and salary scales elaboration and reviews and training skills.
-Proven 3 year experience in administrative work and logistic (the candidate will be responsible
for overseeing the administrative aspects of Global Platform training center, along with organizing
travels for visitors/trainers – visas/logistics, responsible for overseeing of the offices running
costs/suppliers payments, management of the supply of materials/services).
-Excellent organizing skills.
-High level of integrity and a role model to staff with excellent skills of communication.
-Knowledge of general law related to HR, (Palestinian Labor Law, Palestinian Civil service Lawetc).
-Ability to communicate fluency in Arabic and English.
