Administrative and Financial Assistant
Educational Sciences Faculty ( UNRWA ) and An najah National Universityhave received a Grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) – Ministry of Education and Higher Education and funded by the World Bank for the project entitled: «Upgrading practicum at both ESF & An-Najah National University for the upper basic elementary level ( 5 -10)». The Grant aims at developing the vision and mission of the practicum in Educational Sciences Faculty UNRWA) , An- Najah National University and Arab American University-Jenin
Assignment Objective
Educational Sciences Faculty (UNRWA) and An - najah National University are considering the selection of a highly qualified Administrative and Financial Assistant to be part of the administrative staff responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of the Project activities under the
supervision of the Project Coordinator.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
1-Following Up the financial and administrative issues related to the project.
2-Providing help in coordinating all project activities
3-Tracking and following up the project budget as reflected on the budget plan.
4-Auditing & recording financial transactions.
5-Assist in preparing progress reports in both Arabic & English language on monthly basis.
6-Maintaining & securing project financial records & documentation
7-Carrying out Archiving , typing , and presenting various documents including the meeting minutes of the steering committee
8-Coordinating with the Project technical coordinator all the procurement issues “ Updating the procurement plan, preparing purchase orders, tenders, quotations etc”
9-Arrange meetings and workshops, prepare meeting rooms and provide/ arrange hospitality
10-Preparing the agenda of the steering committee, and following up the implementation of the decisions taken by the committee.
11-Performing any other duties as, assigned by the steering committee in line with scope of responsibilities
Qualifications & Skills:
1-Bachelor degree in accounting or business administration from an accredited university or any other related field.
2-Two years of professional experience in similar assignments.
3-Excellent communication and networking skills.
4-Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English and Arabic.
5-Experience in using MS Office efficiently.
Place of Work : at both An – Najah National University (Nablus) for Four days and Educational Sciences Faculty for One day (Ramallah) , & under the supervision of the director of financial department at NNU
Time Frame : The duration of the assignment is 24 months, the Administrative
and Financial Assistant shall work 8 hours per day 5 days per week.
Contract Type: Time Based contract
