About the Project:
In coordination with the EU, Birzeit University, Al-Quds University, and An Najah National University will implement new Masters programs in Economic and Finance Law as well as Criminal Law. An-Najah is acting as the lead partner on the project and will create a Program Coordination Unit (PCU) to monitor program implementation at all 3 of the three universities for the three year implementation period.
In addition to the creation of these new degrees, the main objective of the program is the enahncement of the legal sector through the provision of specialists in the fields listed above as well as capacity building in the faculties of law at all three universities.
About the Postion:
The manager will handle the administrative and financial tasks necessary for report writing, coordinating between the three universities to ensure timely reporting of expenditures and supporting the work of the PCU Director to ensure transparency and accountability to EU standards. The manager will also work with the PCU Director on the creation of an internal systems manual/guidebook for the program.
Qualifications:
BA degree in Accounting
fluent English/Arabic Required
familiarity with accounting procedures
thorough knowledge of NGOs and related systems
experience with coordination
proven ability to interact with high ranking officials
professionalism and dedication
ability to work with strict deadlines
excellent interpersonal skills
