The Arab Hotel Association in Jerusalem is seeking to recruit an “Administrative Assistant” at its office in Jerusalem.
Duties and Responsibilities shall include but are not exclusive to:
- Assisting the AHA Executive Director in developing and implementing work plans for AHA
related activities.
- Conducting data collections for both statistics andor survey purposes.
- Assisting the ED in producing publications and collecting ads (For all AHA different printed materials)
- Carrying out all activities in accordance with AHA Governance and Management Manual.
- Performing basic secretarial duties that include, but are not limited to, word processing,
database management, recording of meeting minutes during meetings, facsimile and telephone operations.
- Carrying out field visits of tourism businesses & attend meetings at various locations as assigned.
- Assisting in organizing events, trade missions, and preparing for attending international
exhibitions including circulars to members, material production, reservations, and any other logistic arrangements.
- Help in preparing for AHA/ PHTRC meetings and workshops (Agenda follow up actions and minutes).
- Assisting in promoting & maintaining the AHA latest information, financial and news.
- Maintaining the office filing system including, correspondence, reports, and client files. Keep all documents up-to-date and organized in a systematic fashion. Ensure that AHA and PHTRCdocuments are completely separated from each other at all times.
- Receiving guests and make appointments for AHA visitors and members as needed, also recording messages and transfer calls to the Executive Director board.
- Managing the daily needs of the office in terms of maintenance, finance, supplies, repairs and cleaning.
Main Qualifications:
- BS in Business Administration or related degree
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in professional administrative work
- Proficient Microsoft office applications.
- Excellent Arabic and English oral and writing skills (Hebrew is a plus)
- EXCELLENT communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
