Solutions for Development Consulting Co. is a consulting firm that offers services directed at Palestinian economic development and is based in Ramallah, Palestine. In perusing our aim, we work closely with international aid agencies, local governmental, semi-governmental institutions and municipalities, national private sector institutions and specialized sector associations, private sector corporations and SMEs.
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant with the following details:
Purpose & Scope of the position:
The Administrative assistant reports to the administrative officer/manager and is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in an effective and efficient manner and ensuring that organizational operations are maintained successfully and proficiently.
Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Assistant, your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
1- Provide administrative support to ensure that organizational operations are carried on in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner:
-Organizing and maintaining office files
- Maintain confidential records and files
-Opening and distributing mail
- Coordinate repairs to office equipment
-Arrange for payments to suppliers, clients, and other parties
- Prepare documents and reports on the computer
- Schedule and prepare for meetings as required
2- Perform receptionist services:
- Greet and assist visitors
- Answer phones
- Direct calls and respond to inquiries
3-. Assist in financial and procurement duties:
- Communicating with suppliers as needed
- Ensuring procurement runs smoothly and on time
- Manage purchase orders
- Monitor company running costs
Requirements and qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in office administration and bookkeeping procedures.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality concerning financial and employee files.
-Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
-Must possess excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Must have strong time management skills.
- Computer skills and ability to operate spreadsheet and word processing programs are required.
