Administrative Assistant
The Business Women Forum (BWF) is a national non-profit organization established in 2006, to promote and empower the role of businesswomen and entrepreneurs as leaders in the Palestinian economy through advocacy, influence to create an enabling environment for women in Palestine. BWF works through a comprehensive methodology through provision of business development packages including capacity building, coaching, consultancy and technical support necessary for their business, enhancing access to markets, financing and knowledge, in addition to networking with local, regional and global institutions and organizations.
BWF is looking for a responsive and committed Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that includes providing support to BWF Executive Director, and BWF Project Managers and employees
Administrative Assistant: will be reporting directly to the Executive Director
Full Time Job: daily from 08:00 AM until 04:00 (Friday and Saturday are weekend)
Based in: Ramallah- AL Bireh- Al Balou’ area
Estimated starting time of Work: Immediately
Main Responsibilities: Providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible to:
- Handling administrative requests and duties from BWF staff members including but not limited to: drafting letters, invitations, photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing.
- Answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate contact.
- Assisting in organization and coordination of BWF events, volunteering opportunities, new hire, conferences, exhibitions, etc.…
- Meeting clients, visitors, and preparing hospitality.
- Maintaining hardcopy and electronic filing system.
- Updating BWF facebook and website.
- Organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings and taking meeting minutes.
- Developing and preparing BWF monthly, quarterly and annual reports and presentations.
- Maintaining, updating and following up on all matters related directly to the executive Director.
- Support staff in all logistics related to assigned projects.
- Updating Members files and following up on monthly basis.
- Purchasing office stationery and supplies.
- Organizing travel arrangements (locally, abroad) for BWF staff members.
- Delivering all BWF documents related to banks, ministries, etc.
- Managing monthly BWF petty cash.
- All other duties and responsibilities requested by the Executive Director.

Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in secretarial and administration assistance work related field is preferable.
- Diploma / BA degree in business administration or related field.
- Fast learner, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Highly organized and capable of following up.
- Good knowledge of Arabic & English languages.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong computer, technology, and office equipment skills.
- Driving license is preferable.
