Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Asala is a Palestinian development organization that contributes to empowering Palestinian
women living in poverty to positively change their economic and social status through the provision
of financial and non-financial services
Asala is seeking to hire a full time Administrative Assistant at its head office in Ramallah to
carry on the following:
Main Tasks:
-Take care of the reception and the office equipments .
-Handle the incoming and out-coming mail and all other communications.
-Create ,develop and implement adequate and secure filing systems.
-Help clients & visitors understanding the project objectives and policies.
-Help the Project Director in administrating her paper work, appointments, and other related work.
-Prepare all meeting logistics.
-Follow up on all communications & mail with the Banks & the Lawyer office
-Prepare and monitor staff attendance sheets, vacations, health insurance claims and monitor reimbursements of staff when needed.
-Mange the bookkeeping and administer the office petty cash.
-Prepare and monitor all actual and potential purchases for the office .
-Insure cleanliness of the office and continuous maintenance for the office equipment.
-Accomplish any other related task requested by her supervisor.
Skills Required:
-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant field.
-Similar experience for at least 3 years.
-Very good communicational skills in English language.
-Mastering a word processing and a spread sheet computer programs.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Team Player.
-Valid Driving license.
