in Jerusalem, Ramallah and Gaza implementing programmes for the European Union and the SpanishDevelopment Co-operation
This position is funded by the European Union.
IMG is soliciting applications for the position of an expert for Administrative expert to Infrastructure
Implementation Unit within the Directorate General of International Relations (IRD) and Projects -
Ministry of Finance.
MAIN TASKS:
The Technical Assistant will work under the direct authority of Director General ofInternational Relations and Projects Directorate to assist the Ministry of Finance/IFU in -administrativetasks of the IFU. e. The following specific tasks are requested:
1-Assist IFU staff with administrative duties as requested including secretary duties, photocopying,
binding and follow up mail archiving and registration and delivery.
2-Cooperate in the maintenance of IFU data collection/registration system.
3-Maintain and keeping a logging sheet for financial guarantees.
4-Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail including bulk mail.
5-Order office supplies and monitor inventory.
6-Liaise with other ministry departments for logistics and office support.
7-Update and maintain mailing lists and addresses.
8-Produce mailing labels and reports as requested.
9-Writing up minutes of meetings.
10-Other tasks as per request of the Manager.
Experience:
1-Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent
2-Demonstrated written and oral communication skills (Arabic and English).
3-Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
4-Minimum three years working experience as administrative assistant/secretary
5-Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
6-Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system.
7-High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
8-Ability and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings and weekend days.
9-Ability to travel within the West Bank for short work trips.
10-Experience working in administration of infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Weekly working hours: Sunday to Thursday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
