Job Description
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Project-level Responsibilities:
- Support the development of advocacy training materials;
- Support the implementation of the community trainings;
- Conduct field visits and meetings with community members (assuring participation of all AGD groups) to identify human rights issues and identify/propose solutions;
- Support the project team and targeted communities in preparing and reviewing advocacy/IHL-related products requested, to be used in national and international advocacy campaigns;
- Represent WeWorld during events, such as meetings and workshops, under the supervision of the Advocacy Manager and in coordination with the project team.
- Work closely with project partners to guarantee a correct implementation of all the planned activities;
- Institutional Outputs Responsibilities:
- Weekly Plan, Individual Action Plan
- Use of Online Calendar
- Monthly Time Sheet
- Minutes of the Meetings for any attended and facilitated meeting
- Advocacy Activities plan (Dissemination Plan);
- Monthly and ad hoc outreach deliverables (factsheets, case studies, newsletters, articles, etc.)

Job Requirements
- Qualifications and Knowledge
- University degree in law, social sciences, organizational management, development economics, or other equivalent degrees
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and team skills
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages, both written and verbal
- Valid and clean driving license (automatic and manual)
- Professional Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Advocacy and human rights issues, and/or policy development;
- Experience of and strong skills in developing and implementing advocacy and campaigns strategies;
- Experience in writing reports, policy briefs, and other project-related materials for in-country and international audiences;
- Previous work experience with NGOs will be preferred
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to travel inside the West Bank (Salfit, Jordan Valley, Jericho, Bethlehem, and Ramallah Areas).
- Ability to build strong relations and networks with beneficiaries from targeted communities.
- Excellent skills in identifying key stakeholders, building relationships, advocating towards government officials and other advocacy targets
- Excellent planning and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proven organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while fostering quality, team spirit, and positive working relationships with colleagues
- Precision and meticulousness
- Problem-solver approach with demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and creating efficiencies
- Strong commitment to the Mission of WeWorld, genuine interest in international cooperation development topics
- Demonstrates integrity with regard to NGO values and ethical standards
- Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age sensitivity and adaptability
- Treats all people fairly without favoritism
- Computer skills, in particular MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project.
