Analysis and Evidence Specialist
The ICRC is an independent, neutral organization ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence. It takes action in response to emergencies and at the same time promotes respect for international humanitarian law and its implementation in national law.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is looking for a candidate to fill in the following position:
Analysis and Evidence Specialist
Place of Employment: Jerusalem
Contract duration: 12 months (extendable)
Occupation rate: 100%
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Grade: B2
Purpose of the Role
- The Analysis and Evidence (A&E) Specialist serves as the primary support contact for A&E activities at both delegation and sub-delegation levels. In this role, s/he provides essential support throughout the program cycle across all programmatic areas, offering valuable assistance at each stage and theme. The A&E Specialist plays a crucial support role in assessing and analysing needs, designing and planning programs based on insights, monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating program outcomes, and facilitating learning opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Supports the implementation of delegation level A&E strategies and team’s priorities
- Supports the implementation of needs assessments, GIS, situation and problem analysis, monitoring frameworks, logic models, and other technical guidance aligned to A&E standards
- Supports the delivery of workshops and training
- Provides support to A&E coordinators in strengthening the institutional capacity and visibility of A&E, through the redaction of reports and training material
- Represents the ICRC with local partners/stakeholders in his/her area of responsibility

Job Requirements and Experience
- University degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, GIS, Political Science, or another related field.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in needs assessments, monitoring & evaluation, operational information management, results-based management, or a closely related area.
- Very Good command (written and spoken) of English & Arabic.
- Computer literate, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Desired technical skills
- Proven experience in leading surveys, multiple assessments in countries, including the design, data collection and analysis.
- High degree of initiative and organization, ability to work with limited supervision as well as strong priority-setting skills
- Proven capacity to work in a stressful environment and follow tight deadlines
- Ability to adhere to the organizations work ethics and code of conduct
- Strong relationship management & communication skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team
- High attention to details
- Valid Israeli driving license
