Al-Ghassan Systems is looking to hire a an Application Support employee to provide technical support and resolutions to customers. We are seeking a self-motivated and positive individual that takes the initiative to make improvements for the clients and to the company. The employee will work in a fast-paced agile development environment and must be able to manage communication between developers and clients quickly, work as part of a team, and see assignments through to completion.

Role and Desccription:

The Application Support employee will respond to client requests mainly over the phone and carry out the following tasks: Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, training, and providing technical support and assistance as needed. The employee will be trained on all the company’s system from a technical and business application perspective. The employee will be responsible for logging all clients’ requests and follow up on them until they are completed. Field visits are part of the job and the candidate must possess excellent communication skills to relay technical and business information to clients.

Job Requirements
Skills Required

A degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related field.
Excellent IT and computer skills.
Experience with supporting and training end-users
Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
An understanding of basic accounting principles is a must.
Prior experience with accounting software packages is a plus.
The ability to work under stress
The ability to work in an agile development environment
A collaborative and team-oriented personality is a must
A continued interest in emerging technologies and the desire to keep learning is essential
