Application Test Engineer

ASAL Technologies, the largest software house in Palestine, is looking for an Application Test Engineer. The ideal candidate is detail oriented who loves to tinker and optimize solutions.

As an Application Test Engineer you will need to install, configure and test various applications such as databases, revision control tools, analysis tools etc. over file systems and test for correctness, performance and best practices.

Job Description

• Install and configure applications on AWS
• Measure application performance
• Work with the team to identify problems and test solutions
• Document successful configuration and performance optimization
• Develop and run installed script

Qualifications

• Sc. degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Have at least two years in system administration or dev-ops
• AWS, including being able to build AWS environments and configure them.
• Installing, troubleshooting and configuring applications
• Provisioning and configuring file and block storage solutions
• Performance analysis
• System management and tuning
• Troubleshooting application issues (using strace and other tools)
• Basic Python knowledge is an advantage
• Networking knowledge is an advanta
