Area Registration Officer

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the posts of:

1-Vacancy No. : 118/2010/X
2-Basic Salary : 499.49 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
3-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
4-Other Benefits : Health Insurance, Provident Fund

5-Qualifications:
-Post-Secondary diploma in social work or business administration.
-At least four years experience in registration activities
-Good knowledge of English and Arabic. Sound knowledge of registration and eligibility instructions rules and policy
-Ability to supervise staff interprets and applies rules and instructions, give correct judgments and act with tact and resolution.

Preference is given to:
-BA holder in Business.
-Registered Refugees from Jenin Area.

Desirable Qualifications
-Awareness of eligibility and registrations terms/codes.

-With their prior agreement, candidates who are approved as suitable for appointment but are not the selected candidate for this vacancy, will be placed on the Agency’s roster of pre-approved candidates for a period of up to one year, and may be considered for future vacancies in the same position. The Agency maintains the discretion to fill future vacancies for this position from the roster without re-advertising the vacancy.
