Start date: ASAP. Salary: NIS 5880 per month gross or depending on experience - Full time position.
Based in Ramallah with regular travel around the West Bank, the AME Manager will have the
managerial responsibility for the entire AME Unit and will bear the following main responsibilities:
Team Management:
-Assign roles and supervise the work of AME staff
-Organize daily work plans for AME staff both in field and in data entry
Feasibility Assessment and Methodology:
-Inform Capitol Office on the feasibility of proposed assessments
-Design AME Action Plans and propose needed assessments
-Propose appropriate survey and monitoring methodologies
Oversight of data collection:
-Ensure the implementation of the assessments as per agreed methodology
-Oversee and provide feedback for the work of AME team during assessments
-Oversee the data entry from the AME team after field assessments
-Check the accuracy and relevance of data reported
Reporting and documentation:
-Oversee writing of assessment reports to be submitted to the Capitol Office
-Ensure timely submission of reports and integration of comments made by Capitol Office
-Oversee the creation and upkeep of the Resource Center
Required Skills:
-University degree in a relevant field, preferably relating to Agriculture
-5+ years experience with at least 2 years management experience
-Experience in survey or assessment research methods and practice
-Excellent computer skills including Excel
-Fluent English and Arabic
-Strong communication skills
-Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively
