Job Description
Palestine Association for Children’s Encouragement of Sports - PACES, a UK registered NGO working in Palestine since 2006. PACES provides healthy, structured after-school sports programs for Palestinian girls and boys and is currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated individual for the following position in Jerusalem and West Bank:
Post Title: Assistant Program Auditor
Location: Jerusalem, Palestine
Position: Part-Time
Reporting to: Manager, Program Audit and Procurement
Basic function of position:
Responsible for assisting the Manager, Program Audit to monitor, evaluate and audit PACES
programs in the Jerusalem and the West Bank, both the core sports program and the social
civic programs, ensuring that PACES’ work in Palestine contributes effectively and efficiently
towards meeting the short, medium and long term objectives of the organization.
Qualifications:
-At least a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Financial
Management, Economics, or a relevant field from a recognized university;
-3 to 5 years of relevant experience in audit, monitoring and evaluation, administration
and management in a team environment, including good administration, managerial
and organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure;
-Good interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral, cross-cultural);
-Familiarity with sports programs for children will be an added value;
-Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications;
-Competency in writing reports and preparing spreadsheets.
-Fluency in Arabic and English;
-Resident in the Jerusalem;
-Valid divining license.
