Assistant Researcher

Mercy Corps,an International non-governmental elief and development agency,is curently expanding activities in the Gaza strip.Mercy Corps is seeking a candidate for the following position for our office in Gaza
Duration :9 months with possibility of extension
Main Responsibilities :
The Behavioural Researcher will be responsible for carrying out research as part of our monitoring and evaluation efforts.The tasks include reserching changes in children's behaviour ,changes in their mental well-being and changes in the behaviour of parents and caregivers.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a university degree at least at B.A level (M.A preferred).in a discipline related to behavioural research.Applicants must also have excellent planning,organization,and monitoring skills,and a demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with others associated with adequate communication skills.Applicants must be able to work independently as well as in teams.
Proficiency in MS Office ,excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic are essential requirements for this post and possession of a valid drivng license is highly desired.
