AWARENESS CAMPAIGN OFFICER

Position: AWARENESS CAMPAIGN OFFICER

Responsibilities and functions:

Responsible for the awareness raising component of MDM Spain program by planning and organizing through a participatory approach, sensitization campaigns focusing on community behavior towards emergency health providers and emergency topics.
-Designs awareness strategy to address identified messages
-Designs sensitization material (radio spot, leaflets, etc…) and implements awareness campaigns to sensitize the population on the determined messages
-Evaluates permanently the effectiveness and the quality of the awareness campaigns taking into consideration users’ feedback
-Submits recommendations to ensure gender/age are taken into consideration at Hospitals Emergency department level by gathering feedback from women in the communities.

He/She will ensure the intervention’s coherence with MDM Spain policies, mission, ethical principles and values.

Qualifications and skills:
-University Diploma related to Communication, Community mobilization, Campaigns designing.
-Excellent Arabic and English written and spoken
-NGO/Humanitarian sector previous technical knowledge compulsory.
-Relevant experience with NGO in similar position.
-Good computer skills
-Excellent communication skills, empathy, patience and diplomacy skills.
-Strong organizational, coordination and planning skills.
-Team player
-Proactivity, creativity and problem-solving oriented required.

This position is for 2,5 months starting in September
