AWS Datawarehouse and DataLake

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Warehouse Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, with specific expertise in AWS Redshift, DataLake, and SQL Server. As a Data Warehouse Developer, the candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the data warehousing infrastructure, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop scalable solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs. The candidate will develop visual semantic layers, dashboards, and reports with PowerBI, QuickSights, and Tableau. Responsibilities include:

Design and implement data warehouse solutions using AWS Redshift, DataLake, and SQL Server, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to efficiently extract data from various sources and load it into the data warehouse. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into data models and technical specifications. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation tasks to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and manipulation. Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. Implement data security measures, ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Work closely with data analysts and business intelligence teams to develop and optimize reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data warehousing, AWS Redshift, DataLake, and SQL Server technologies. Collaborate with other developers and team members, providing technical guidance and support as needed.

Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, preferably using AWS Redshift, DataLake, and SQL Server. Strong proficiency in SQL and database programming. Experience with ETL tools and processes, data modeling, and data integration techniques. Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing concepts and technologies, particularly AWS Redshift and DataLake.  Visualization and  report development experience with PowerBI, QuickSights, and Tableau. Knowledge of data security and compliance standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and design appropriate solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet project deadlines.
