Vacancy Description Pay Band 6 Location: OPT Closing Date: 15.02. 2018 Duration of Contract: indefinite

Role purpose

To lead overall on business pursuit, development and management in the SBU sectors of Arts & Society for the British Council as well as managing the delivery of the ODA grant funded British Council project portfolios in these sectors . To identify business opportunities, establish leads, secure business intelligence (including donor funding cycles), establish & maintain database of potential funders/partners and provide local onsite backstop for the overall Arts & Society income generation efforts for the Occupied Palestinian Territories (whether as an individual country opportunity, or one that is part of a Levant multi-country opportunity) on a full cost recovery and/or partnership basis, including the local response to and fulfilment of the Contract Approval Process of the British Council (CAP). To manage the planning and delivery of the Arts & Society GPF programme portfolio in OPT within the allocated budget and according to British Council project management and delivery standards
