Invitation to pre-qualification process for roster of consultants in economic research organizational development and labour market assessments

INTRODUCTION:

The Jordanian Action for the Development of Enterprises – JADE– is part of a broader EU program to support the private sector development (PSD) in Jordan, which intends to promote systemic change in the enterprise ecosystem supporting the economic development potential of Jordan and its private sector.

The project, based in Amman, Jordan, is aimed at improving the technical and management capacity within the enterprise and entrepreneurial ecosystems, in addition, to increasing the private sector competitiveness, through working with various business service providers, local Jordanian intermediaries, and a diverse group of other intermediaries, including incubators, chambers of commerce, and the industry.

In the framework of the implementation of JADE, lasting for a period of 3 years, the consortium, led by B&S Europe, and composed of Leaders Organization, the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, and the Jordan University for Science and Technology (JUST), is requesting expression of interest and submission of pre-qualification data from competent consultants in economic research organizational development and labor market assessments. Prequalified researchers and consultants – only those who meet all pre-qualification criteria – will be part of the roster and thus become eligible to be considered for a partnership arrangement.


INTENT OF PRE-QUALIFICATION

In order to provide support services to SMEs in Jordan, the project is building a network of competent researchers and consultants who will be assigned to offer services for SMEs. JADE invites all economic researchers and business consultants (including firms) to submit their expression of interest and complete the profiling form with an up to date CV.
General areas for proposed activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

-    Mapping of different entities active in SME and startup support.
-    Design of SME support program and operational procedures.
-    Enterprise diagnostic studies.
-    Organizational capacity assessments and organizational development.
-    Economic research and studies.
-    Skills gaps assessments.

JADE will assess potential service providers and appoint parties that will deliver needs-based services.
