The NGO Development Center (NDC) is a Palestinian non-profit non-governmental organization whose main function is to provide technical and financial support to Palestinian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to empower them to respond to the needs of the poor and marginalized in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. In line with NDC’s mandate, NDC is currently seeking to fill the following positions to be based at its office in Al-Ram.

Capacity Building and Code of Conduct Accreditation Coordinator
Location: Main Office (Al-Ram)

NDC is currently seeking to fill the position of Governance and Management Officer to be based at its office in Al-Ram.

Objective of Position:
Coordinate institutional capacity building activities to beneficiary NGOs and to coordinate all the work related to the Palestinian Code of Conduct.

Specific Duties:
Coordinate institutional technical assistance activities to partner NGOs.
Coordinate, and when required, manage the work of other consultants working with NDC.
Evaluate consultants’ services and outputs.
Provide training to NGOs based on the NDC tool kit.
Prepares terms of references (TORs) and contracts for consultants.
Provides input for the development of detailed action plans for sub-components of the Sector Development Program and periodic updating of these action plans.
Coordinate the implementation and operation of the Code of Conduct with NDC partners and all related activities including, finalization and revisions of the code, selection of the beneficiary NGOs, management of consultants, on-the -the-job training
Coordinate and facilitate meetings and workshops.
Monitor the Results Framework for the sector development department and the achievement of results.
Monitor budget allocations and expenditures against the approved budgets and plans
Prepare progress and periodic reports.
Any other activities and/or assignments as assigned by the Sector Development Manager.


Qualifications:
Master degree in management, social science, engineering or other related fields.
5 years of proven experience in providing capacity building activities that includes training and coaching to NGOs.
Good understanding of the NGO sector in Palestine.
Professional reporting skills.
Excellent command of Arabic and English languages.
Ability to work and travel in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
