Save the Children (SC), as a non-profit U.S based development organization, has been working in
Palestine Territories since 1973. Since starting its operation in west bank and Gaza Strip, SC has concentrated on enhancing Health, Educational, Psychosocial, Food security, and economic opportunities in order to achieve its mission, namely to create lasting, positive change in the lives of children.
Save the Children US is recruiting for the position of Capacity building, training and private Sector
Linkages Specialist to work on TVET Project with funds from USAID.
The Capacity Building, Training and Private Sector Linkages Specialist will lead the implementation
of the capacity building and training components for partner institutions and partners and work closely with the Program Manager and Project Director on establishing, linkages, coordination and cooperation/ partnership between the League institutions and private sector.
The position will follow up with the GAP and private sector linkages consultant/contractor
Requirement and Experiences:
-Bachelor’s degree Development Studies, Sociology, economics, industrial Engineering, International development or any related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Five years experience in similar work
-Experience knowledge of local organizations in Palestine and capacity to develop strong coordination relationships
-Extensive experience working with private sector in Palestinian economic sectors/firms and organizations and workforce development related programs.
-Experience in training and facilitation
-Experience in Capacity Building
-Experience and knowledge of the Palestinian TVET System
-Knowledge of local organizations and TVET institutions
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Strong communication skills-Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
-Good Computer skills
-Valid driving license
-Ability to travel thought out the West Bank and Gaza
