Catholic Organization /Assistant Engineer

A large respectful Catholic Organization based in Jerusalem
working in the field of education, humanitarian aid, and development has the following vacancy:
1) Assistant Engineer (full time one year contract renewable)
Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering
• Modern methods and techniques used in the design and construction of a wide variety of engineering projects and/ or design, construction and rehabilitation of a wide variety of building projects
• Ability to make engineering computations and check, design
and supervise the construction of a wide variety of public and private facilities
• Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
• Use a variety of drafting and engineering apparatus
• Ability to develop agreements with sub-contractors and follow them up
• Administrative abilities
• Knowledge of different languages especially Hebrew is an asset
• Driving ability
Experience and Education:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in professional engineering work
• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
