CHF/Design Architect

CHF International is a non-profit international development organization acting as a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low and moderate income communities around the world, helping them to improve their social, economic, and environmental conditions. With funding provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), CHF International in the West Bank and Gaza is implementing a local governance development program titled; Local Democratic Reform (LDR)-Tawasol. CHF is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Design Architect to prepare the conceptual design and design guidelines for establishing One Stop Shops (OSS) for several municipalities in the West Bank. The design activities will be undertaken in coordination with the target municipalities under the direct supervision of CHF:

Position Location: CHF Main Officer-AI-Bireh- WB
Duration: Up to 6 months

Key Responsibilities
-Prepare thematic designs for each of the selected OSS's reflecting a unified image and adapted to individual needs and available space of each target municipality
-Develop architectural designs and guidelines for the establishment of each of the agreed upon OSS's;
-Prepare 2d and 3d presentations
-Work closely with partner municipal engineers and the engineering team of CHF to develop the detailed designs and tender documents for construction purposes

Key Qualifications, Experience and skills:
-A bachelors degree in architecture from an accredited university
-At least 6-8 years experience in the Architectural design
-Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D presentation and graphics
-Knowledge of 3D max and movie
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Valid and clean driving license.
