3-Appointment: Full time Job with a 3 month trial period

4-Qualifications and Experience Required of the Position:
-A minimum of BA degree in social sciences, development studies or other relevant field; MA/MBA degree preferred
-A minimum of 5 years work experience is vital
-Experience in managing human and financial resources
-Strong personal interest in & professional understanding of major issues related to identity, culture, civil society, civic education and engagement
-Strong PR & networking capacity and ability to relate to different sectors and stakeholders locally, nationally and regionally.
-Good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Excellent formal and informal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
-Exhibit patience, tolerance and flexibility
-Excellent attitude and very detail oriented, self-directed and a strategic thinker willing to pitch in at all levels

5-Duties and Responsibilities:
-Oversee the daily operations of the cultural & civic program, including the supervision of staff, to ensure smooth and efficient carrying out of functions, professional conduct, and timely quality outputs
-Manage the program budget in accordance to the financial rules and regulations of Diyar and the donor agencies, ensuring proper documentation and adhering to the approved budget and its itemization
-Write and submit professional proposals and reports to donor agencies and international partners
-Work closely with artists, performing groups, and experts in designing, preparing, facilitating and implementing annual cultural & civic programs.
-Work closely with the selected partners participating in projects to ensure proper implementation of the project after signing a memorandum of understanding with their respective authorizing bodies
-Responsible for updated periodic media coverage of the program
-Perform public relations duties to increase public awareness of the program at large and each of the projects
-Prepare and submit timely reports as requested by Diyar President and Donor
-Project Manager is expected to work long hours, under pressure and to frequently travel within the Palestinian areas and beyond
