Project Title:Improvement of water and sanitation situation to vulnerable communities and strengthening response to flooding in Gaza

The Anticipated Starting Date: 1st March 2016

Project Scope:

The project aims at supporting vulnerable communities of Al-Malalha area and Johr AlDeek (including children, women, and men) to have improved access to safe water, adequate sanitation and hygiene practices.
Responsibilities:
-Follow up the project field activities and ensure compliance with the quality and accountability standards
-Conduct filed assessment addressing the socioeconomic status and living conditions of vulnerable families in Al-Malalha and Johr AlDeek Areas
-Conduct technical assessment for the needed maintenance/renovation works
-Elaborate tenders documents including the BoQs and technical specifications
-Keep records of all project documents and prepare weekly and monthly reports on the project progress

Needed Qualifications:

-Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in construction management (at least three years in water and sanitation projects)
-Experience in houses rehabilitation/renovation is an advantage
-Experience in working with CSOs is an advantage
