MSF-France is currently seeking to hire a Cleaner (Hourly work)

Location: East Jerusalem

Activity: Human Resources, Coordination

Main Purpose

Execute, according to hygienic standards, housekeeping, cleaning and tiding up activities in order to ensure public and staff private areas are in good condition.

Accountabilities

Under the direct supervisor of the HRCO Assistant, specific accountabilities include:

• Clean 6 apartments (3 bedroom) on a weekly basis, in accordance with the cleaning checklist
  • Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and other rooms in MSF
  • Do the laundry iron clothes and other housekeeping activities.
  • Sweep and mop the floors.
  • Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.) as required.
  • Check that the water supply (kitchen, showers, etc.) is sufficient during water cuts.
  • Keep premises properly locked (doors, windows).
• Deep clean each apartment on a six weekly basis (or when there are new arrivals)
• Cover for the office cleaner / cook as required
• Request any repairs or new equipment or household items through the HRCO Assistant to the Logistics team
• Remove rubbish from the apartment to the street rubbish dumpsters

Education

Literacy / high school diploma

Experience

Previous experience desirable.

Languages                              

Local language essential. English Language desirable.
