Cloud Engineer

A leading company in Palestine is seeking a skilled professional Cloud Engineer to join their team to manage the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their cloud infrastructure and virtualized network functions (VNFs)

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting the cloud infrastructure and VNFs. This role will be essential in ensuring seamless operation, high performance, and secure environments that support the company’s organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure, including virtualized and containerized network functions. 

• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on cloud systems to ensure reliability and compliance with best practices. 

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively. 

• Implement security measures to safeguard cloud environments from cyber threats. 

• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate VNFs and cloud-native solutions into the network. 

• Support optimization projects to enhance the efficiency and scalability of the cloud platform. 

• Provide technical support during outages and ensure timely resolution of cloud-related incidents. 

• Maintain documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. 
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and recommend upgrades or innovation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, telecommunications, or a related field. 
• Experience: 5+ years in cloud roles or related fields. 

Professional Skills: 

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes). 

• Solid understanding of network function virtualization (NFV) and containerized functions (CNFs). 
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
