Commodity Value Chain Coordinator
The ideal candidate will have experience working with and coordinating public and private sector stakeholders to develop partnerships and facilitate the implementation of matching grants with other PARC and OXFAM program staff based in Palestine/ Gaza Strip . The candidate will have experience in agricultural commodity chains, preferably high value fruits , vegetables, Olive as well as associated food crops grown by farmers in Palestine Other desirable skills include knowledge of modern agricultural practices and technologies, pre-harvest and post-harvest practices, agricultural credit, and improved planting material in the MENA region.
The selected candidate will be based in GS and will focus on building partnerships with private sector companies,. He/she will report to the commodity Lead Project Manger (from PARC) and Programs Manager (from OXFAM). Fluency in Arabic and English is required.

Qualifications:
-At least 3-plus years experience working in agricultural value chains
-University degree in agriculture, business, or development related field (Masters Degree preferred).
-Extensive experience working with and brokering partnerships with public and private sector partners.
-A strong background in the NGO sector and particularly agricultural and economic development.
-An in-depth knowledge of the Palestinian agricultural sector
-Fluency in English (required) and Arabic.
-Self-starter, ability to work in fast-paced, diverse work environment with minimal support infrastructure

Selection, development and prioritization of value chains

-Formulation of an upgrading strategy for selected value chains
-Identifying constraints to chain performance
-value chain upgrading strategy Definition of roles and responsibilities
-Implementation of upgrading strategies Monitoring and impact assessment
Output: design intervention concept model to be approved by donor
