Short Term National Junior Expert – Communications Expert
 for EU Support to a Tax Awareness Programme in Palestine 


AARC Ltd is seeking to hire a Communications expert to support the implementation of a tax awareness project led by the Ministry of Finance and funded by EU.

Input: 56 work days
Duration: October 2017 to February 2018.
Location: Ramallah

Requested Services:

The approach will avoid the workshop-educational style and will focus more on hands-on specific tasks with each one of the staff as follows:

-    Daily assistance with VYC (assisting the PRU in development of messages, coordinating with the agency and radio station) (2 days per week - 20 days).
-    Newsletter review - ideas for improvement and follow up before publication (5 days)
-    Social media message drafting and responding to queries from the public. Ensuring regular monitoring of the PRU Facebook page. (1 day per week - 18 days)
-    Creating a reference material library and corresponding filing system in the PRU office (including training materials, reference materials, manuals, newsletters, etc.) (7 days)
-    Support to daily PRU activities such as drafting press releases, preparing presentations, preparing for workshops (6 days).

Requirements:

-    University degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar.
-    At least five years of experience in Communications / PR.
-    Knowledge of English language
-    Courses taken in training delivery an advantage.
