Communications Radio Operator Job # 10/2009

CARE CARE International- West Bank and Gaza is recruiting for a two position of Communications Radio Operator (one full time and one part time) to work immediately
in Gaza Strip NGO Security Office (GANSO) funded by ECHO.

Position Title: Communications Radio Operator Job # 10/2009
Location: Gaza Strip
Duration: Till September 14, 2009
Required Qualifications: Completion of University Diploma Excellent knowledge of English
Required expertise: Two years of hands-on computer training
Experience in hands-on operation of GP-360/380 Motorola base station
The GANSO radio operator will assist in the receipt and dissemination of security & safety
related information collected from Non Governmental Agencies (International and National)
by multiple types of communication equipment. The Communications Radio Operator is
required to maintain proficiency in use of Computer systems and applicable programs like
excel, word, and access which allows storage of data prior to dissemination in report format outlined by GANSO Standard Operating Procedures. The GANSO radio operator should have the required proficiency in translating from Arabic to English and vise – versa and fluently speaks English.
