Community Facilitator

Job Description
ActionAid, an AusAID accredited NGO are seeking two qualified persons to fill the following positions for its office in Hebron.

Position Name: Community Facilitator.
Work Station: Hebron District.
Duration: Three Years

Qualifications and Skills:
-University degree in Development Studies/Social Sciences or related field.
-At least 4 years recent experience working with community based organizations.
-Proven leadership and management (including financial) of development projects.
-Proven ability to work with government authorities, NGOs, development agencies and community groups.
-Ability to work with donors and meet donor requirements and procedures.
-Understanding of core protection issues and sustainable livelihoods approaches.
-Experience in training, supervising, teaming with and assessing local staff.
-Excellent report writing and documentation skills in Arabic and English.
-Willingness to move in the field and work in challenging environments.
-A high level of computer competency.
-A deep commitment to Action Aid’s vision, mission and values.
-Experience and competence in quantities and prices analysis for Quotations and Bids.
-Valid Driving License.
