Job purpose summary:
The main responsibility of the community mobilizer is to maximize community participation, engagement, promoting partnership, inclusive development and gender mainstreaming, CBOs and private sector engagement, and localize development at cluster/community level.
Main Tasks and Duties:
- Responsible for accomplishing project goal, objectives & outputs required within the project.
- Responsible for the proper documentation of the project activities.
- Arrange/facilitate for different meetings with stakeholders and partners.
- Prepare and submit periodic report
- Conduct /facilitate need assessment and in- depth socioeconomic analysis
- Handle beneficiaries’ complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Lead the L&A at cluster level

Qualifications, Requirements, and Competences:
- Bachelor degree in agronomy, engineering, social studies business or any relevant field with at least 5 years’ experience
- Strong communication skills.
- Organizational skills, including an ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Publisher, MS Word and Excel)
- Management Skills
- Reporting skills
- Good Monitoring and Evaluation skills
- Coordination/communication Skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Valid driving license
- Residency or ready to settle in middle Jordan Valley communities is an advantage
- Previous knowledge of JV context is an advantage
