Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing MAP’s community-based programme, ensuring effective implementation, budget oversight, and timely reporting. They will lead programme development, support fundraising efforts, and ensure compliance with donor regulations and MAP policies. Additionally, they will oversee monitoring and evaluation activities, strengthen partner capacity, and integrate disability inclusion and gender mainstreaming. The candidate will also lead and develop the community programme team, build strong relationships with local and international partners, and represent MAP in relevant meetings to support programme goals.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing development programmes, including design, monitoring, evaluation, and collaboration with civil society, local partners, and government officials. Expertise in managing donor grants, budgets, and MEAL frameworks is essential, alongside strong people management, reporting, and organizational skills. Fluency in English and Arabic, advanced MS Office proficiency, and a valid West Bank driver’s license are required. Experience in disability inclusion, gender-sensitive approaches, and risk management is highly desirable.
