Compliance Manager
Job Description
The USAID-funded Flagship Project is seeking to fill the position of Compliance Manager. The above position requires competence with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook and fluency in written and spoken English. No phone calls please.
This is a long-term position reporting to the Deputy Chief of Party of Operations and assisting the technical and operations team by providing high quality guidance and direction on regulations and policies by addressing issues raised by staff, partners, subcontractors, grantees, etc in a clear, proactive, and responsive manner to ensure project activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with the project’s prime contract, USAID regulations and Chemonics policies.
Principle duties include:
-Mission Order 21 Compliance: Advise and provide guidance to staff on issues related to Mission Order 21, supervise the compilation and submission of monthly sub-award report with the goal of 100% compliance and to oversee the process for processing vetting requests.
-Contractual compliance: Support project operations by reviewing and approving company binding documents including purchase orders, leases, subcontracts, grants, and services agreements to ensure compliance with the contract and Chemonics policy and practice.
-Provide strategic support in order to improve process, reduce risk and ensure compliance.
Education, Qualifications and/or Equivalent Experience includes:
-Solid leadership, management, and teambuilding skills with the ability to proactively trouble-shoot and problem solve;
-A minimum of 4 years experience working in an administrative/operations role with an international development organization, preferably with USAID projects;
-Experience with Mission order 21 and vetting procedures on other USAID projects;
-Experience with assistance and acquisition regulations including but not limited to FAR, ADS, Standard provisions, CFR and AIDAR strongly preferred;
-Excellent attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task.
