Job Purpose 

Planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory and compliance related reviews of the central bank and other legal parties, inspect books and systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted standards 

identify and manage risk exposure by ensuring that the systems and controls which exist are effective and relevant to protect the firm from both internal and external risk factors, whilst encouraging a culture of compliance and ethical standards.

The Compliance function is meant to reasonably ensure that the company is complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, as well as internal codes of conduct, policies and procedures.

Main responsibilities but not limited to:

• Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
• Prepares timely Compliance reports for executive management
• Overseeing internal operating controls, processes, and practices
• Comply with all relevant internal policies and procedures
• Maintain Compliance Registers
• Serve as a contact point with Legal entities
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings
• Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
• Evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk
• Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
• Assist with conducting Internal Monitoring (CMP) of adherence to internal policies
• Continuous process improvement and sharing best practice
