Conflict Management and Mitigation Specialist

Job Description
Program in West Bank/Gaza. The program will seek to contribute significantly to conflict management and mitigation in the Palestinian Territories. The Project Director is responsible for
overall program management and will be expected to interact regularly with program staff, USAID
Mission staff, civil society organizations, PA officials, other donors, and all program stakeholders.
The two positions will be based in Ramallah, with travel throughout West Bank/Gaza. The expected
duration of the project is 3 years.

Conflict Management and Mitigation Specialist

Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in social sciences, community development, peace-building,
communications, and/or other related field. Master’s degree would be an asset.
-Excellent understanding of the technical aspects of conflict management and mitigation.
-Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical position on conflict mitigation projects
-Experience in running conflict resolution trainings/events at the community level
