PITA – Paltel are launching a call for expressions of interest for a Comparative Study: The Palestinian Education System vs. The Needs of the Private ICT Sector
This call for expressions of interest targets consulting services providers (Firms and Individuals). The assignment will focus on understanding the gap between the current supply of ICT fresh graduates technical & soft skills and the actual needs reported by Palestinian ICT and non-ICT companies (Gaza & West Bank). This study will address the needs of the IT companies in the national market, which will be reflected on the student’s skills and Universities development curriculum.
This consultancy is open to Firms or to teams of individual consultants who offer senior experience in the following areas: ICT consulting (analytical, rather than programming), labor economy and social research design, qualitative/quantitative research and analysis, and an understanding of a wide range of Palestine economic sectors. The Consultant(s) background must show a high level of analytical and presentation skills. Strong English and Arabic skills will be essential to the conduct and translation of research.
The team may consist of any number of individuals who, collectively, bring this background to the Project. The team should include one note-taker / writer tasked with the complete and timely sharing of interview reports.
Interested consultants (Individual/Team)
1-Consultants services (Individual/Team) should work jointly in both Gaza & West Bank.
2-Must pay 200 NIS and receive the hard copy of the TOR starting from 18 March 2014 up to 24 March 2014 from PITA Offices in Gaza and West Bank according to the following address:

Submissions for Gaza/WB bidders should be on hard copies in sealed envelopes and must be delivered to the above mentioned address.
All Technical and Financial submissions must be delivered no later than Thursday 6 April 2014 at 12:00 pm.
