Required Skills and Experience

Education:

A Master’s Degree in Gender Studies, Statistics, Socio-economic Studies, or any other relevant development fields.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of extensive experience working on gender issues including women empowerment, gender mainstreaming and gender equality.
• At least five years of experience in conducting gender research, analysis, assessments and/or studies related to women empowerment and gender equality.
• At least five years of experience in the national development policy-making and support, and publishing policy papers/briefs focusing on gender.
• At least 2 years of previous experience in working with UN agencies or international organizations.
