The Partnerships with Youth (PWY) project provides educational and leadership opportunities for youth aged 14-29 throughout the West Bank by creating vibrant, youth-friendly hubs where young Palestinians can innovate, learn, and develop their talents. A key component of the PWY project is to build the capacity of six Youth Development Resource Centers (YDRCs) in the West Bank to increase and improve opportunities for active learning and innovation for Palestinian youth.  The project is funded by USAID and implemented by IREX, an international non-profit organization.

Through PWY, IREX is seeking up to three individual trainers/consultants who can develop and provide interactive training workshops in the following topics:

-Outreach, Networking, and Marketing:

The training will build the knowledge and capacities of the YDRCs’ staff and enable them to establish partnerships, promote their programs and services, and engage other stakeholders and donors in the implementation of their planned programs and activities. The training will include a review of the existing strategies and tools used by the YDRCs, discussion on their design and effectiveness, and suggestions for alternative and additional approaches.

-Good Governance:
The training will strengthen and improve the governance within the YDRCs, reinforce the core principles and methodologies of good governance, and identify gaps in performance and suggest possible solutions.

-Strategic Planinng:
The training and technical assistance will provide an overview of the concept and steps of the strategic planning process, assist the YDRCs to set strategic goals and priorities, and initiate the development of a draft strategic plan at each YDRC.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

1-Extensive experience implementing training workshops/courses on one or more of the topics listed above;
2-Proven experience in designing training workshops and developing training materials on one or more of the topics listed above;
3-Experience working with youth and youth centers;
4-Knowledge of the international, regional, and Palestinian context; and
5-Strong communication and writing skills in both English and Arabic languages.
