Technical Coordinator and Drafting Specialist
Chemonics International seeks an experianced Technical Coordinator and Drafting Specialist, to work in USAID-funded Building Regional Economic Bridges (BREB) activity.

The Technical Coordinator and Drafting Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the reporting and communication of the Technology and know-how transfer Component “C1” tasks and activities.
Specific Functions and Responsibilities of the Technical Coordinator and Drafting Specialist:
- Regularly follow up with C1 team members to track progress on grants, ensuring that all information required for team communication, reporting, or alignment is up to date.
- Update internal reporting systems, including the BREB CRM tool and other cross-component trackers such as the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) tracker, to ensure accurate and timely documentation of project activities.
- Assist in the technical work and development of grant applications and budgets, collaborating closely with C1 team members to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the communication department to streamline reporting processes for USAID, BREB management, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- Fulfill any ad-hoc administrative coordination tasks requested by the C1 team lead, providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth operation of project activities.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with other departments or teams within BREB to facilitate information sharing, problem-solving, and alignment of activities across different project components.
- Contribute to training and capacity-building initiatives within the C1 team, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall project effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, outcomes, and lessons learned, facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the organization.

Basic qualifications include:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as business administration, project management, communications, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or grants management could be advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience in communications and reporting, including in drafting documents, such as grant proposals, reports, and project plans, as well as PowerPoint presentations is essential.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English and Arabic is essential, enabling the clear and effective conveyance of complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must, and experience with CRM tools and project management software is preferred.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in all aspects of work, with a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Previous experience working in the development sector, particularly on projects funded by organizations like USAID, would be advantageous. Familiarity with donor requirements, compliance standards, and reporting frameworks is beneficial.
