Coordinator/ Trainer

 

Right To Play is an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play programs
to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in the most
disadvantaged areas of the world. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right
To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver our programs in more than 20 countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Title: Coordinator/ Trainer
Based: Gaza
Starting Date: 1st January 2010

Right To Play is now seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Coordinator/Trainer based in
it’s office in Gaza. The primary responsibility of the coordinator/trainer is to assist and supervise the
implementation of Right to Play program in Gaza that include:

- Conduct training to staff, partner organizations and volunteers
- Review and implement training resources and methodologies
- Implementation of project activities, including activity plans and its finances;
- Communication and liaison with representatives from project specific partners;
- Communication, reporting and coordination with the country office in the West Bank
- Supervision of Supervisors in the implementation of key project activities; and,
- Provision of training to project level staff and volunteers

Required qualifications:

- University degree in a relevant field (Social sciences or related field,).
- Previous experience in training and management
- Knowledge and experience in the area of youth and children programs and needs.
- At least 3 years experience working with NGO’s.
- Good networking and report writing skills.
- Fluent in Arabic with English writing and verbal skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and as a team member.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Driving licence is an asset.
